Handmade recycled solid brass earrings, made by our artisans in Kenya. These are beaded with three, four or five beautiful pink tourmaline gemstones and have a butterfly earring fitting.

These hoops are named with reference to Lamu, our absolute favourite island and place in Kenya, that has been inspirational in many of our jewellery designs. Pink tourmaline is a compassionate heart cleansing stone that is connected to beauty and an unconditional love of humanity and friendship.  It is also said to be excellent for encouraging listening and understanding.  

For us, the gorgeous strong pink colour of the stone reminds us of the underbelly pink feathers of an African lilac breasted roller bird; a reminder of how beauty can be found everywhere - even in the feathers of a small bird.
